ASFC FINAL: Azam, Young Africans fixture date confirmed

The finals of Azam Sports Federation Cup (ASFC) will be staged on June 12th at Mkwakwani Stadium in Tanga.

A statement from the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB) has revealed on Monday.

It is going to be played three days after the last games of the 2022/23 Premier League season which concludes on June 9th.

Here, it means both Azam and Yanga will have two days to prepare and travel to Tanga after their respective top flight league fixtures.

The Ice cream makers host Polisi Tanzania at Azam Complex in the city on June 9th while Yanga play Tanzania Prisons on the same day at Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya.

To reach this far, Azam outclassed Simba 2-1 while Yanga overpowered Singida Big Stars 1-0.

A win by Yanga will enable them to complete a treble of titles this season as they have already bagged the community shild and premier league trophy.
