CCM appreciates Samia over effective manifesto supervision

MTWARA: THE ruling CCM party’s Secretary General, Ambassador Dr Emmanuel Nchimbi has commended President Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan for effective supervision of the Election Manifesto 2020/2025 across the country including in Mtwara Region.

He said the Election Manifesto 2020/2025 in Mtwara has been implemented by over 80 per cent.

“The regional commissioner has briefed th e progress of all projects in the region, the implementation of the party’s manifesto exceeds 80 per cent,” Dr Nchimbi said over the weekend during a rally in Mtwara Town which was held at the Saba Saba Ground.

Adding “we thank our President for managing to supervise the party’s manifesto effectively countrywide,”

He said the manifesto is the binding contract between the government and citizens intending to accelerate the development of the country as a whole.

Furthermore, Dr Nchimbi commended the citizens for keeping on collaborating with the government for full execution of the manifesto.

The rally was attended by thousands of citizens mainly in green t-shirts who were eager to listen the governing party’s Secretary General.

Dr Nchimbi said he was satisfied with the development of CCM in Mtwara by looking at its consistency on conducting intra party meetings, registration of new members and how party’s leaders solve citizens’ problems.

“We have been impressed with the progress of the party and citizens continue to trust it,” he said.

On top of that, he noted that CCM has come with a new approach for timely addressing of citizens’ problems during its rallies by directing senior officials within the party to invite people to submit their specific concerns before the guest honour’s arrival for solutions and clarifications.

He said at the rally in Mtwara Town about 112 citizens problems were submitted whereby he used the podium to instruct government leaders including the Regional Commissioner (RC) to solve them on time saying the party will be making a detailed follow up.

Overall, he highlighted the problems in general, relating to strengthen of clean water supply, payment of compensation to citizens who paved the way for construction roads and electricity supply.
