Dar turns green, yellow, as champs Young Africans arrive

A plane carrying the newly crowned Young Africans players landed at Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA) in Dar es Salaam on Saturday before receiving water salute.

The team has returned home from Mbeya region where they played two last Premier League fixtures and presented with their 29th league silverware.

Upon arrival at JNIA, a water salute respect was staged as the airplane they boarded slowly landed before reaching its stopping point.

From the airport, players together with some management members paraded the trophy using a top-open bus decorated with traditional colours of the club, yellow and green.

Many fan have accompanied the bus as it slowly moves from the airport enroute to the Jangwani street for the climax of the celebrations.

It has been another good campaign for the champions and have another opportunity to bag an extra trophy to seal a treble.

They play against Azam in the Azam Sports Federation Cup (ASFC) finals at Mkwakwani Stadium in Tanga on Monday.
