Firms join forces amid tourism sector recovery

AS Tanzania experiences booming of tourism and hospitality industry, two firms namely Dough Works Limited and Oryx Energies Tanzania have announced a strategic partnership aiming at delivering consistently high-quality food and the most convenient consumer experiences.

The two sides announced the deal at a press conference held in Dar es Salaam ahead of the soon to be open KFC Drive-Thru and BAO Café at Oryx Morocco Service.

According to a statement issued on Friday, the KFC Drive-Thru at Oryx Morocco will be the latest addition to the existing restaurants at Mlimani City Mall, Masaki, Diamond Plaza – City Centre, Mikocheni Plaza, Kariakoo and Julius Nyerere International Airport.

Alongside the opening of new KFC restaurants, Dough Works’ latest venture and a home-grown brand, BAO Café boasts a fusion of Tanzanian and International café and convenience choices, delivering world-class quality and service. In the span of only three months, BAO Café has seen rapid growth with a total of four outlets and plans are underway to open further 2 outlets before the close of 2022.

Oryx Energies Tanzania Limited, part of Oryx Energies Group, is stepping up its commitment to providing a range of convenience retail offerings to a wider customer base to meet the needs of people on the move at its rapidly growing network of service stations in the country.

The opening of the two new outlets in partnership with Oryx Energies Tanzania Limited is part of the greater expansion plan for Dough Works’ QSR and Café brands.
