Young Africans have set up a thrilling Azam Sports Federation Cup (ASFC) finals against Azam after defeating Singida Big Stars 1-0.

Substitute Fiston Mayele netted the winning goal in the 82nd minute of the tense duel at Liti Stadium in Singida on Sunday afternoon.

The triumph has since increased Yanga chances of sealing a treble of domestic titles this season just like the way they did in the previous league campaign.

Also, the victory is Yanga’s third of the season against the Singida based outfits who are yet to chew success versus the Jangwani street origin team.

They have already been declared Premier League champions and grabbed the community shield trophy at the start of the season hence only ASFC silverware is next for them to compete.

“We expect a tough final game against Azam because they have good players who knows how to approach big matches,” says Mayele after the encounter.

Azam outclassed Simba 2-1 to storm into the finals and are eager to clinch a title meaning that the upcoming encounter will be spectacular.
