Katungu is new commissioner general of prison

DAR ES SALAAM: PRESIDENT Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed Commissioner of Prison (CP) Jeremiah Katungu, as new Commissioner General of Prison (CGP).

According to a statement issued by the Directorate of the Presidential Communications, CP Katungu takes over CGP Mzee Nyamka, who has retired.

“The appointment started effectively on July 28,” the statement reads.
