NDONDO CUP: How USG’s novelty improved health, lives of 10,000 youth in Dar

DAR ES SALAAM: This year’s Ndondo Cup has transformed from a local football tournament into a dynamic celebration of health, successfully providing nearly 10,000 youth aged 15-24 with essential HIV and vaccination services.

Thanks to the collaborative efforts of the U.S. Government (USG) through USAID and PEPFAR, along with the Breakthrough ACTION project, the event became a festive platform for health outreach.

During the tournament, nearly 10,000 not only celebrated the game but also accessed vital health services, breaking down traditional barriers to participation youth.
