NMB pledges to support women entrepreneurs

TANZANIA: NMB Bank has highlighted its commitment to supporting and collaborating with women  entrepreneurs, especially by providing friendly financial solutions to aid their economic growth.

NMB’s Company Secretary, Ms Mwantumu Salimu said the bank supports women’s empowerment as a way to recognise and appreciate their contributions to economic expansion.

“You serve as an exemplary model for many women across the country, inspiring young girls to gain confidence and commit to their work, businesses, education, and other endeavours,” she said at the meeting with members of the Tanzania Women Chamber of Commerce (TWCC) at the ongoing ‘Sabasaba fair, yesterday.

NMB offers banking services, including financial education, loans, and diverse insurance products, such as the ‘Machinga’ insurance tailored for businesses, through their experts, assuring substantial benefits for attendees.

TWCC’s Executive Director Ms Mwajuma Hamza expressed gratitude to NMB for recognising and valuing the efforts of their members.

“We deeply appreciate NMB for continuously supporting our economic growth by closely assisting our members,” Ms Hamza said.

A TWCC member, Janeth Munisi, attributed her economic stability and ability to employ other women to the bank’s support.
