No reports of Tanzanians stranded in Lebanon

DODOMA: THE government has not received any information about Tanzanian national who are stranded due to the current circumstances in Lebanon.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, the government will provide necessary information regarding all Tanzanian nationals who live in Lebanon.
“The ministry is closely following the prevailing situation in the Middle East, particularly in Lebanon and so far, we have not received any information about Tanzanians,” the statement issued on Tuesday reads in part.

Tanzania joins the international community in encouraging all parties in conflict to engage in good faith in the ongoing diplomatic efforts and to avoid actions that lead to more violence.
