One killed, 15 injured in Kamata road crash

One person has been confirmed dead and 15 others severely injured after a commuter bus crashed into a passenger train at Kamata railway crossing in Dar es Salaam on Thursday.
Speaking via phone to Daily News Digital, the Railways Police Commander ACP Sebastian Mbutta, confirmed the accident saying the accident was caused by the recklessness of the commuter bus driver while crossing the railway line at Kariakoo.
The ACP said the injured passengers were rushed to Muhimbili National Hospital for treatment.
The wounded included 10 women and 23 women.
