PREMIER LEAGUE RECORD SET: What to expect in next season

DAR ES SALAAM: As the countdown continues to the new Premier League (PL) season 2024/25, the previous league campaign has left remarkable trace worth acknowledging.
It is encouraging to see that individual players did their best to stamp spectacular records, which in one way or another will orchestrate them to work hard in the next season.
Breaking down records can sometimes be a cumbersome task hence if one excels at breaking them; it becomes a joyous moment for them.
In the upcoming season, football fans will be anxious to see how the players who performed well last season will keep up the good job and without doubt, this will force them to work harder.
For instance, Young Africans attacking midfielder Stephanie Aziz Ki will be battling to uphold five records he created which are with the Most Freekick Goals (4), Most Hat-tricks (2), Most Left-footed (17), Most Goals Outside the Box (6) plus the Top Goal Scorer (21) record.

This will prompt the Burkinabe to pull up his socks to uphold his records knowing in advance that if his work-rate will drop, then others will overtake him.
Similarly, others who will be targeting not to lose convincing records they set up last season include Azam’s attacking midfielder Feisal Salum, who netted the most Right-Footed Goals (13) and most Goals Inside the Box (17).
Also, Feisal is on record to have scored the fastest hattrick last season which was completed within 9 minutes into the game when Azam hosed Tabora United at Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam.
His Azam teammate Kipre Junior will also be vying to preserve his setup status of ending the season with Most Assists (9) which no other player managed to surpass.
However, these are just some of the known records created by some players in the previous league campaign and undoubtedly, those behind them will thrive to sparkle again in the approaching season.
In the approaching season, it is evident that players who had an unconvincing ride last term will be keen to prove their worth and, in such doing, the level of competition will be scaled up leading to another brilliant season.
