President Samia: Discharge your duties diligently

President Samia Suluhu Hassan administered oaths of newly appointed Permanent Secretaries and Ambassadors on Friday and advised them to discharge their duties diligently.
The Head of State said at Chamwino State House in Dodoma amid the rapid growth of the country’s economy and population, Tanzania needs leaders who can address various challenges facing wananchi.
“There are too many people and all of them need services, we are making these changes for that purpose, those who are appointed should go and work,” she said.
Earlier this week, President Samia appointed three ambassadors including Chief Secretary, Moses Kusiluka, Dr Salim Othman Hamad, an assistant to the President (political affairs) and Dr Kassim Mohamed Khamis, assistant to the President (Speeches), as ambassadors.
She also made a minor reshuffle of deputy PS’s and appointed Engineer Rogatus Mativila as the new Deputy Permanent Secretary in the President’s Office (Regional Administration and Local governments (PO-RALG)) responsible for infrastructure.
Others were Eng Mohamed Besta as the new Chief Executive Officer of Tanroads, Benedict Wakulyamba as the Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism taking over from Anderson Mutatembwa who has been transferred to Prime Minister’s office (Policy, Parliamentary Affairs and coordination) as the new Deputy Permanent secretary.
On the other side, she also appointed Eng Amin Mcharo as the new Chairman of the Advisory Board (TANROADS).
