PST backs Dr Ndugulile for WHO regional top post

TANZANIA: The Pharmaceutical Society of Tanzania (PST) has endorsed former Minister for Health and Kigamboni MP, Dr Faustine Ndugulile for the position of WHO AFRO Regional Director.
A statement issued by PST on Tuesday noted that Dr Ndugulile has been endorsed for the post because of his extensive experience and successful track record in healthcare both in Tanzania and globally.
According to the statement, Dr Ndugulile has been instrumental in advocating for the ratification of the African Medicine Agency, promoting pharmaceutical and health commodities manufacturing, combating antimicrobial resistance as well as building a sustainable health system.
