PW trains 150 cabin crews in two years

Precision Air (PW) has trained some 150 cabin crews in related fields in a year and half, where majority of them have acquired employment in various airlines in the country.
PW’s Chief Executive Officer Patrick Mwanri said since the establishment of the training wing in December 2021, they have successfully completed six classes of aviation to cabin crew, with an average of 25 graduates per intake.
“One of our greatest achievements is the continuous production of highly skilled professionals in our industry, who are ready to serve various organisations, including our own, at the highest standards,” Mr Mwanri said during the sixth graduation over the weekend.
PW also conducted various internal and external training sessions for organisations and institutions such as Nit, Swissport, Nas, Air Excell, Regional Air, Serengeti Balloons, and Flight Link.
“As promised, in addition to expanding our classes further, we will soon begin offering training for Flight Operation Officers (FOO) and simulator classes for pilots,” Mwanri revealed.
Also, the second largest airline in the country which is listed on Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) said they are planning to increase classes in the area of air ticketing, customer service training, safety officers, and security officers.
“For us, this is a significant step forward, and our aim is to establish a large institution that serves East and Central Africa,” he added.
Faustina Arnold, a graduate, and the best student, said the course was not as difficult as people may think, but it requires attentiveness during studies.
“We promise to apply the knowledge we have acquired during this training to serve customers with professionalism and high-level hospitality,” said Ms Arnold.
