Samia graces 11th Tanzanai Health Summit in Zanzibar

ZANZIBAR: President Samia Suluhu Hassan officially opened the 11th Tanzania Health Summit at Fumba Town, Zanzibar, on October 1, 2024.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, the summit it was a platform for stakeholders to explore innovative solutions and partnerships aimed at transforming Tanzania’s healthcare system.
The three-day from October 1 to October 3, was presided over by Zanzibar’s President Hussein Ali Mwinyi.
Over the past ten years, Tanzania Health Summit has become a cornerstone for positive change in our healthcare landscape and this year, under the theme ‘igniting progress: joining efforts for quality healthcare through public-private partnerships’ they aim to push boundaries even further.

The summit convened the entire healthcare ecosystem, connecting and developing relationships that truly moved the SDG agenda.
“We look forward to these special moments that will drive us forward in our collective mission to enhance healthcare for all.” Part of the statement from the Health Ministry read.
Tanzania Health Summit is a non-profit health organization that was founded in May 2014 with the aim to promote healthcare to the underprivileged and vulnerable (70% of the population) who cannot easily access health services in the country
