Samia names eight envoys

PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed eight ambassadors to represent Tanzania in various countries.

A statement issued by the Director of Presidential Communications on Monday, said the envoys are Major General Ramson Mwaisaka, Major General Paul Simuli and Mohamed Awesu.

The list also included Gelasious Byakanwa, Mohammed Juma Abdallah, Hassan Mwamweta, Imani Njalikai and Khamis Mussa Omar.

The statement said their appointment is effective since May 10, 2023 and will be sworn-in after a scheduled date.
