When given the opportunity, utilise it with great honesty and integrity so that every citizen can benefit from your service.
For example, when funds are allocated for a specific project in a certain area, ensure you supervise the work diligently, making sure the money is judiciously spent,” He further urged leaders, executives and the Media to clearly explain and publicise the achievements attained by the sixth phase government so that those who have not heard can be informed.
“If these accomplishments are not mentioned, some people may believe nothing has been done, while in reality, significant progress has been made,” he said.
He added: “Let us speak about it, let us publicise it, to show how the slogan ‘Kazi Iendelee’ (Let the work continue) is being implemented in practice by our government.” Singida (CCM) Regional Chairperson, Ms Martha Mlata, commended President Samia for addressing various challenges in the region including hunger.
She also expressed gratitude to the Head of State for allocating substantial funds for development projects which have resulted into the region’s economic growth and significant progress.
“In the past, when a government employee was posted to this region, it was considered a punishment, but now, when they come, they no longer want to leave,” the Chairperson explained.
