Tabora Utd eye strong comeback this month

TABORA: TABORA United have affirmed their focus on maintaining positive performance as they aim to excel in the topflight league as they continue with intensive training in preparation for the upcoming league fixtures.
According to the Tanzania Mainland Premier League schedule, United will play three home games and one away fixture in their upcoming fixture and are aiming to build on their recent performances and climb up on the league table.
United’s Head Coach, Francis Kimanzi, said that they are currently in camp, continuing with an intensive training programme to ensure strong performances in all of their matches.
“The league is temporarily paused due to the FIFA calendar break, but Tabora United have continued training without a break since our last match on August 28.
Despite the fact that we lost to Simba on our first match, we secured a 2-1 victory against Namungo, earning three valuable points.

“We have three home matches coming up in September, it’s easy to consider them as straightforward, but in reality, they will be challenging, as every team knows the strength of Tabora United.
We must perform well to bring joy to our supporters,” Kimanzi said.
The coach emphasised the importance of continuous preparation, especially during the current FIFA international break, to build on the momentum gained from their previous matches.
“We are not only just preparing physically but also mentally, ensuring that the players are focused and ready to face the challenges ahead.
The break gives us a valuable opportunity to work on our game plan, improve our coordination and strengthen our overall team dynamics,” the coach stated.
On September 11, Tabora United will host Kagera Sugar while this, on September 14, they will face Tanzania Prisons After that, Tabora United will have another home game on September 20 against Fountain Gate and their away match will be against Ken Gold on September 28.
Tabora United sits in sixth place on the Premier League table, having accumulated three points from two away matches.
