Tanzania WP get significant gain from IAWP

CHICAGO, USA: TANZANIA’s women police officers are set to gain significant benefits from the 61st International Annual Training Conference hosted by the International Association of Women Police (IAWP) in Chicago, US.

The ongoing conference which commenced on Tuesday is expected to bring transformative changes to the Tanzania Police Force, particularly in the areas of operational efficiency and service delivery.

Speaking shortly after the opening ceremony in Chicago, Commissioner of Police for Administration and Human Resource Management, CP Suzan Kaganda highlighted the importance of the training for Tanzania’s female officers, expressing confidence that the knowledge and skills acquired during the conference would greatly enhance the capabilities of the Tanzania Police Force.

“Our Police Force is committed to providing excellent and high-quality services to the public. This training will be invaluable in bringing about operational transformations within our force,” said CP Kaganda.

She further noted that the participation of Tanzania’s women police officers in this prestigious event underscores the force’s commitment to continuous professional development and improving law enforcement standards.
