Tanzanians urged to apply for online Turkish language courses

TANZANIANS have been invited to apply for the online Turkish language courses which are being offered free of charge by the Yunus Emre Institute of Turkey before May 28, this year.

Such a move comes following growing demand of most people from various parts of the country wanting to have a good command of the language.

According to the institute’s website, the online courses enable thousands of people to be reached in their respective countries without physical Turkish language courses.

Turkish Ambassador to Tanzania, Dr Mehmet Güllüoğlu extended the call through a press statement, indicating that the people of Turkey and Tanzania share a very strong bond of love.

“And these bonds are getting stronger day by day. There is a great interest in Turkish TV series and Turkish language. Yunus Emre Institute organises online Turkish language courses to address the increasing demand for learning Turkish,” said Dr Güllüoğlu.

He added: “Conducted in the affectionate climate of Turkish culture, the Turkish teaching activities also strengthen the bonds of friendship between the countries. Our Tanzanian friends are welcome to apply for the courses before May 28,” the Envoy stated.

The institute’s websites also note that people who seek to learn Turkish, but lack facilities to do so can make use of the online courses.

With participants from all age groups, the Turkish courses pave the way for new friendships. Conducted in the affectionate climate of Turkish culture, whereas the teaching activities also strengthen the bonds of friendship between the countries.
