TİKA empowers 80 children with disability in Kilwa

LINDI: In a remarkable display of international cooperation and community spirit, the Nifuate Zanzibar 2024 Campaign, supported by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), has significantly impacted the lives of 80 children with disabilities in Kilwa in Lindi region.

The charity match, hosted in collaboration with the Samatta Foundation, Ali Kiba Foundation, Fei Toto & Bui Foundation, and Safe Haven Foundation, turned into an extraordinary event that brought hope and joy to many.

TİKA provided essential educational tools, including wheelchairs and specialized printers for visually impaired students, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to pursue their educational dreams.

These contributions are not just tool, they are symbols of hope and inclusion, breaking barriers and opening doors for young hearts in Kilwa.

During the handover ceremony, Kilwa District Administrative Secretary, Mfaume Sudi underscored the profound impact of TİKA’s support, highlighting how it fosters social solidarity and promotes a culture of coexistence.
