U15 placed in Group A in May 21 to 24 games

TANZANIA: The Tanzanian under 15 boys’ team (U15) has been placed in Group A of the ‘African Schools Football Championship 2024’ that is expected to be contested as May 21 to 24, 2024.

According to information released by the Council for East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA), the tournament at the New Amaan Complex Stadium in Zanzibar has seen about 44 teams confirming their participations with more than 800,000 U15 men and women representing their countries.

Moreover, the youth will also have the opportunity to be trained by famous African football players, including Emmanuel Adebayor (Togo), Daniel Amokachi (Nigeria) and the legendary soccer commentator from South Africa, Amanda Dlamini.

The draw for the championship was held on Sunday.
