Yanga lands in Dar after beating Marumo in SA

Young Africans landed safely in Dar es Salaam on Friday morning from South Africa.

The Jangwani based side engaged Marumo Gallants in the second leg match of CAF Confederation Cup semifinals.

They won 2-1 at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Wednesday to progress to the confederation cup finals with a 4-1 aggregate victory.

The triumph saw them booking a two legged confederation cup finals versus USM Alger with the first leg slated at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam on May 28th.

Thereafter, the duo will battle for the second leg clash to be played in Algeria on June 3rd.

Up next, they face Singida Big Stars in the Azam Sports Federation Cup (ASFC) semifinal at Liti Stadium in Singida on Sunday.

A winner on the day will play Azam in te finals of the competition scheduled at Nangwanda Sijaona Stadium in Mtwara.

Yanga are the current defending champions of the ASFC title and are curious to retain it for the second time in a row.
