Young Africans honour President Samia with CAFCC medal

President Samia Suluhu Hassan has been presented with a CAF Confederation Cup medal won recently by Young Africans

The award has been given to her on Monday evening at the state house in Dar es Salaam during a dinner gala that President Samia organised for the club.

In his brief remarks, Yanga President Hersi Said narrates that without her visionary leadership and guidance, they could not have reached far in the confederation cup contest.

“We value a lot motivation that you provided for buying each goal that we scored and the money was going direct to the players,” Hersi said.

He adds that as a club, they will do whatever it takes to become the first club in the country to bring a CAF title.

Again, Hersi assured President Samia that under her leadership, they will keep on winning the league title as they are heading to pocket the 29th Mainland Premier League silverware.

He also appreciate the President’s gesture to provide the Dreamliner aeroplane to and from Algeria saying it simplified their movement.
