Yanga clinch Toyota Cup after thrashing Chiefs 4-0

JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA: Young Africans have clinched the newly introduced Toyota Cup after outclassing Kaizer Chiefs 4-0.
The thrilling encounter at Toyota Stadium in South Africa on Sunday afternoon has witnessed Miguel Gamondi’s charges claiming the priceless victory.
A brace from Stephanie Aziz Ki plus one contribution by Prince Dube and Clement Mzize sealed the show for the visitors.

Out of three pre-season matches played in South Africa, the Jangwani street based club have cherished two wins and one defeat.
They lost 2-1 to German’s side FC Augsburg before disappointing TS Galaxy 1-0 both games played in honour of Mpumalanga Premier’s International Cup.
However, today’s encounter was special to commemorate Kaizer Chiefs Day with Toyota sponsoring the event.
Up next, Yanga will face traditional rivals Simba in a titanic Community Shield game to signal the start of 2024/25 season at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam on August 8th.
The other clash in the same contest will see Azam hosting Coastal Union at New Amaan Sports Complex in Zanzibar early on the same day.
